Dr. Narendra Reddy is a professor at the Centre for Incubation, Innovation, Research and Consultancy at Bengaluru, India. He obtained his PhD from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA in 2006. Since 2002, he has been involved in utilizing agricultural residues and coproducts for value added applications. He has identified and characterized silk fibres from various unconventional sources. He has published about 150 research publications. He has authored four books and more than 10 book chapters. His work has been reported by CNN, discovery, Science news and ACS.

Pornanong Aramwit is a Professor at Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. She earned a B.Sc. in Pharmacy from Chulalongkorn University in 1992 and Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Illinois-Chicago, USA in 1995 and a Ph.D. from University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA in 2001. Her research experience has ranged from protein including silk proteins, biomaterials, tissue engineering and herbal substances. She also did several clinical researches especially in the area of nephrology and being an expert in dermatology especially materials for wound healing application. She is a world-recognized inventor in medical device and food industry. Numerous awards internationally and domestically have been granted for her achievements. Professor Aramwit received National Researchers Award in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Area from The National Research Council of Thailand in 2016. She received European Innovation Awards and Brussels Eureka Innovation Awards ?Grand Officer Level" from The High Commission of the Invention Award in 2015. In 2017, she also received The Merits of Innovation "Grand Officer Level" from Federation Francaise des Inventeurs in France. Professor Aramwit has written for more than 160 peer-review international journals, twenty books, and has received seventeen patents.
