Dawei Zhang is Professor at University of Science and Technology Beijing, China. He concurrently serves as the deputy director of the Marine Corrosion Protection Technology Committee of the Chinese Society of Corrosion and Protection, the Secretary of the Overseas Branch of the Chinese Society of Corrosion and Protection, the Asia Pacific Liaison of the Technical Committee of the American Society of Corrosion Engineers, and the Associate Editor of Corrosion Science. Prof. Zhang mainly engages in intelligent surface protection technology, microbial corrosion and protection, material environmental failure mechanism prediction and other aspects of research.
